Sul-Fit’s roots go back to 1964, when Patrick Sullivan crossed the Irish Sea and began working alongside like-minded, time-served craftsmen and carpenters who shared the same belief: do the job properly, deliver quality workmanship, meet the programme, control the budget and, above all, work safely.
Those principles have been passed through the family and remain at the heart of Sul-Fit today. From traditional carpentry skills to the demands of modern construction, we continue to work with experienced, time-served carpenters who take pride in their work — maintaining the same standards for our clients today and for the next generation of Sul-Fit carpenters.

Sul-Fit Carpenters is a professional carpentry contractor undertaking all aspects of carpentry across new-build and refurbishment projects. We work with national and regional housebuilders, developers and main contractors, delivering complete carpentry packages across residential and commercial construction.
Our work encompasses joists and floors, roof carcassing, structural carpentry, first fix, second fix, fit-outs, refurbishment works, finals and associated carpentry packages.
With more than 60 years of carpentry experience behind the Sul-Fit name, there is very little in carpentry that we haven’t seen or delivered. That experience allows us to approach each project practically, safely and professionally — delivering quality workmanship, meeting programme requirements and working closely with our clients from carcass through to completion and handover.
